Hi, I'm Darren Pottinger. I was born in Jamaica and raised in the United States. I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering and have had the privilege of working across a wide spectrum of technology roles and companies—from startups to Fortune 500s.
I began my career at places like Manhattan Associates and BNR before stepping into a leadership role as the Director of Software Engineering for Monsieur, an innovative robotic drink dispenser. I also led the development of CNN's official app during the crucial 2016 U.S. presidential elections.
My journey continued at the Walt Disney Company, where I served as an Associate Director and was responsible for the ESPN+ mobile streaming service. After that, I took on a role as the Technical Director for the NFL, overseeing key engineering components for high-profile events like the Superbowl.
I've also worked as a Principal Engineer at World 50, a private community for global business leaders, where I drove strategic initiatives.
Currently, I'm based in Atlanta, GA, where my passions include fitness, travel, and beach outings. Join me here on Gumroad as I share valuable insights and products stemming from my diverse and successful career.
